knotless and knotted fishing nets, made from Polythene, Nylon, Polyester and other
materials, are all precision steamset.
We
manufacture the complete fishing net, to precise specifications and design every
net to improve your catching efficiency. Our fishing nets are tested under actual
fishing conditions and in addition, we provide technical back-up to help you increase
your fishing yields.
We
also supply individual fish net panels and give advice on design, and the necessary
technical support to make our customer's netting work very efficiently.

high tenacity polyethylene trawling material is heatset using a combination of
steam and hot air to ensure optimum material stability and tight knots.

An
important step in the manufacturing and building of fishing nets is gear design.
Alnet
uses the latest European design and simulation software to analyse and improve
the efficiency of its trawls. We calculate the incluence of the 5 hydrodynamic
forces on each knot and half bar of the net, giving us a very close reflection
to reality. This is taken further with prototype trials once satisfactory resulsts
have been achieved.
We
make use of our-in-house developed software to desgn purse-seine nets, as well
as to keep a service record of each and every panel in every net we supply.
Raw
Materials
Extruded
high density polyethylene and imported Nylon-6 form the main raw materials of
our process. Alnet extrudes its own high density monofilament.
This
is monitored within strict tolerance to ensure an optimum balance between high
tenacity and abrasion resistance.
Alnet
imports its nylon from top quality suppliers to ensure the same quality bracket
as with its poyetylene.
The
company manufactures 3-strand twine, 16 spindle braid and 6 bar raschel knitted
products.
